Mercedes-Benz Vision One-Eleven Concept.
A paradigm shift in electric performance.
Shining a light on the future with echoes from the past.
Sleek and radiant, the Mercedes-Benz Vision One-Eleven Concept gives the illusion that it could glide into another dimension. And why not? When the engineers of Stuttgart craft their vision into reality, discovering the unknown is the greatest appeal.
This supercar concept offers an otherworldly interpretation of the iconic Mercedes-Benz C 111 of the 1960s and 1970s, a revolutionary of its time. From the gullwing doors to the copper-infused orange paintwork, this ethereal beast invokes awe and intrigue. And it’s charged with an exceptionally powerful, yet highly compact axial-flux motor and all-new battery technology by YASA, an electric motor specialist and subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG. YASA and Mercedes-Benz joined forces to unlock unseen potential in electric performance driving.
Signaling that future potential, the compact motor makes way for a roomier lounge-like interior never before seen in a sports car. Built flush-fit into the floor, the sculpted seats dazzle with a white-and-silver sustainably processed leather and a diamond-quilted pattern stitching. In here, you can truly choose your adventure as the Vision One-Eleven offers two modes: Lounge and Race. In Lounge Mode, sleek seats invite occupants to relax — indicating the shift towards self-driving vehicles. In Race Mode, they sit low and back, reinforcing Formula 1 inspirations.
Nodding to retro-tech, the slender display spanning across the dash illuminates with large-format pixels. This 8-bit throwback design acts as an art piece with coarse imagery that’s mirrored in razor sharp resolution on the digital screen mounted next to the steering wheel.
Its user experience system transforms science fiction into fact with the Magic Leap 2 augmented reality headset. Occupants can blend into an alternate environment — an effect that transforms the entire car into a user interface with contextually relevant content integrated into their surroundings.
Taking this look further, Mercedes-Benz launched LIMITED EDITION 1 OF 111, a lifestyle collection that includes a weekender bag, sunglasses, hoodie, cap and iPhone 14 Pro cover, each with that shock of orange and silver to complement the vehicle. In true exclusive form, only 111 of these products will be made.
The Mercedes-Benz Vision One-Eleven made its debut at the Mercedes-Benz International Design Center in Carlsbad, California.
The all-new VISION EQXX
by Mercedes-EQ Concept.
Going the distance. So you can too.
Breaking rules to break records.
We’re taking premium electric architecture to a whole new level, surpassing what was once impossible. Together with the Formula 1 experts at Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains, we set out to break barriers — and in doing so, achieved unparalleled efficiency in the all-electric VISION EQXX concept vehicle.
From the onset, our design focus aimed for minimal environmental impact. The simplest solution for greater efficiency would be to build a larger battery — but we were not about to take the easy route. Instead, we developed the fundamentals of the VISION EQXX from scratch, pushing for unthinkably lightweight, hyper-efficient components. We achieved an energy-dense battery that’s 30% lighter and sized 50% smaller. Further refinements from our aerodynamicists allowed us to drop the drag co-efficient to an unimaginable cd 0.17. Just 18 months in the making, this concept car exceeds an astounding WLTP-estimated 620-mile range. With a number like that, this vehicle has the potential to become the silver bullet to the electric road trip — capable of journeying great distances on a single charge. Day-to-day, the average U.S. driver may need to fully recharge just twice a month.
Streamlining this vehicle goes beyond what’s under the hood. We added rooftop solar panels to power numerous functions inside. Interior materials were influenced by nature and made with animal-free textiles — like cactus fibers, mushrooms and vegan silk — that provide a luxurious finish from upholstery to door handles.
The VISION EQXX is more than efficient, it’s also very, very cool. True to its heritage, this Mercedes presents modern luxury, advanced tech and superior comfort. It demonstrates our transformation toward software-driven design with tech developments. Silver, rose-gold and gloss black accents reveal a progressive interpretation of modern luxury.
The extent of skills behind this vehicle are expressed in the XX of its name: it is the X-factor across an agile X-divisional collaboration. The VISION EQXX made its digital world premiere in January 2022 and represents a blueprint for the future of electromobility.
The new 2024 Mercedes-AMG
C 63 S E PERFORMANCE.
Unleashing a force of nature.
Let’s take those racetrack fantasies into the real world.
When the minds of Formula 1 and Mercedes-AMG engineers in Affalterbach get together, wonders unfold. And the 2024 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E PERFORMANCE is no exception. This four-cylinder compact leaves all other hybrids in the dust.
To achieve jaw-dropping hybrid power, we rolled up our sleeves and rewrote the book on performance. By integrating a permanently excited electric motor at the rear axle with the strength of our hand-built 2.0-liter combustion engine in the front, we designed this machine to route power to all four wheels. The result? An outstanding combined system output of 671 hp and a mind-blowing combined torque of 752 lb-ft. By working in tandem, these dual power sources unleash enough force to hit 60 mph in a mere 3.3 seconds.
AMG DYNAMIC SELECT allows you to customize according to your mood. Offering a range of eight driving experiences, the “Electric” drive program switches off the combustion engine to launch up to 81 mph from a standstill. Engage the fully variable rear-axle steering and try Race Mode on for size. Or customize your own drive program with the “Individual” option.
Muscle is a given, but the AMG C 63 S E PERFORMANCE is more than its might. Exclusive design details include the AMG-specific upholstery and distinctive stitching and available AMG Performance seats. Delineating its stature even further, the plug-in charging flap and model designation are set against a red background. And with the customizable state-of-the art technology in the MBUX infotainment system, including AMG- and hybrid-specific displays and functions, cool convenience is always at the forefront of your ride.
Look out for the stunning 2024 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E PERFORMANCE in dealerships next year.
VISION AMG.
Legendary performance enters a new era.
In Affalterbach, they’ve been quietly working on the impossible.
An electric four-door coupe that looks and performs unlike anything else on the street (or the racetrack). With the high bar they’ve set at Mercedes-AMG, it’s almost unthinkable that they could raise it even higher, never mind reinvent what it means to be a fully electric vehicle. But that’s just what the Vision AMG is — a reinvention of an entirely new class of electric vehicles.
Building on the groundbreaking VISION EQXX, the Vision AMG throws out the rulebook and starts from scratch. All the drivetrain components are entirely new from the AMG.EA platform to the dedicated high-performance, high-voltage battery. But what keeps the soul of this vehicle humming is the innovative Axial Flux Motor developed by YASA (Mercedes-Benz’s wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to ultra-high-performance motors). Its compact, lightweight design make it a powerhouse that leaves conventional electric motors in the dust.
Visually, the Vision AMG feels strikingly futuristic. The impact is immediate with its long wheelbase, powerful shoulders, and pronounced 22-inch wheels. The roof tapers gracefully toward the rear of the vehicle, forming a tear drop-like shape that breaks new ground in aerodynamics. The headlights are stylized to feature LED lights in the shape of the iconic three-pointed star connected by a thin light bar that can display a variety of animations. The taillights, by contrast, feature three LED cylindrical tubes that resemble the afterburners of a fighter jet. But what brings it all together is the silver Alubeam paint coating the entire vehicle.
The Vision AMG is more than a concept car. It’s a brave stylistic achievement that doesn’t sacrifice performance or comfort — signaling the future of both AMG and Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles. And if that’s the future they’re envisioning in Affalterbach. Then the future looks bright.
